For a bedroom, home office, or anywhere a humming pump would actually bother you. This one is built and marketed around a specific noise spec, rated at 25 decibels or below, rather than the generic "quiet operation" most fountains claim without a number attached. Stainless steel construction, 88oz tank.

Is This For You?
Who Should (and Shouldn't) Buy This
Get it if…
You want a fountain listed as quiet, and you're fine budgeting for a replacement pump if it fails within the first few months.
Skip it if…
You want a fountain you can set up once and forget for a year or more, since pump lifespan is worth checking and it may need replacing eventually.

About ATMZIQXR Quiet Stainless Steel Cat Fountain
The listing is built around quiet operation, so check how it sounds when it arrives. It has a stainless steel build rather than plastic.
The main thing to check is pump durability. The pump may quit sooner than you expect, and there's no auto-shutoff to protect the motor if the water runs low, so keep the water level up. A second, smaller concern is that the plastic filter housing has tight crevices that can trap residue even after dishwasher cycles.

The Honest Take
What I Like and What I Don't
What I like
- Specific, numbered noise claim instead of vague "quiet" marketing
- Real stainless steel with a slightly bigger tank than our other steel pick
- 4.4 stars, the highest rating in this lineup
- A lit, see-through water-level window, so you can time refills without opening the lid
- Cats that have been ignoring a standard bowl may start using this fountain regularly once they get used to the flowing water
What holds it back
- Newer listing with a shorter review history than the other picks here
- Noise spec is the manufacturer's listed figure, so check how quiet it actually is when it arrives
- The pump may fail, which would leave you with a plain bowl until it is replaced, so check the warranty and return window
- The plastic filter housing has tight crevices that trap residue and can resist a full clean even with a dishwasher cycle
The verdict
The listing pitches this as a quiet fountain, so it is worth listening for pump noise when it arrives. For travel days too, see our cat carriers guide.
What to check in the reviews
We don't republish customer reviews. Read them in full on Amazon, and look for these points first.
- Whether the 25dB or below noise rating matches how quiet the pump is in a silent room
- How the warranty and returns work for the pump
- How well the filter housing's tight crevices clean up
- How short the review history is for a newer listing

Frequently Asked Questions
Is 25dB actually quiet?
For reference, that's close to a whisper or quiet library. It's the manufacturer's listed spec, so test it when it arrives, though it is more specific than unquantified ultra quiet wording.
How does it compare to the other stainless steel pick in this guide?
Both are real SUS 304 steel with two flow modes. This one holds slightly more water (2.6L vs. 2.2L) and leads with a specific noise spec, the other has a longer review history. Pick based on which detail matters more to you.
