HHOLOVE
HHOLOVE Self Cleaning Litter Box Automatic with Safety Sensors, Odor Control, Ultra-Quiet, 60L Large Capacity for Multiple Cats, 2026 Version
For anyone who wants a usage log alongside the automation, not just a bin that empties itself. The app records each cat's weight and visit frequency over time and sends an alert if the sensors pick up more than one cat inside at once. It's a data log for your own reference, not a diagnostic tool, and it's the newest listing in this lineup so the review history is still short.

About HHOLOVE Self-Cleaning Litter Box
Buyers who like it really like it, and the praise is consistent across independent reviewers: the unit is quiet enough that cats go back to using it minutes after a cleaning cycle without hesitation, even an easily startled cat. More than one owner has directly tested the safety pause, including one who watched it over several days with two young kittens and confirmed the cycle stops the instant a kitten touches the box and only restarts a minute after they leave. Setup is repeatedly described as fast and tool-free, with real odor control even in small apartments.
It's a newer listing with a smaller sample of critical reviews, and the ones that exist are specific rather than vague. One owner's cat had a couple of days of soft stool, and the rake reportedly smeared it along the drum wall instead of covering it, leaving a manual cleanup job that defeated the point of an automatic box. A separate owner reported the auto-clean sensor stopped functioning entirely within about a month, with no response from the seller. Both are single reports so far in a low-volume listing, not confirmed patterns, but worth knowing about going in.

The Honest Take
What I Like and What I Don't
What I like
- Highest rating in this lineup at 4.4 stars
- Ships fully assembled with accessories included
- Multiple-cat detection alert is a genuinely different feature from the other picks
- The safety pause isn't just a spec claim, multiple owners describe directly testing it and confirming the box halts the instant a cat is near
- Real-world quiet performance holds up even for cats who startle easily at noise
What holds it back
- Shortest review history in this lineup by far
- 60L drum is smaller than the 95L drums on our overall and multi-cat picks
- At least one buyer reports the cleaning cycle smearing rather than scooping when a cat's stool runs soft, leaving a manual wipe-down
- One buyer reported the auto-clean sensor stopped functioning within about a month with no response from the seller, a reliability and support risk worth weighing given the short track record
Is This For You?
Who Should (and Shouldn't) Buy This
Get it if…
You have a multi-cat household with cats that reliably produce firm, well-formed stool, and you want an app-based usage log alongside genuinely quiet, tool-free setup.
Skip it if…
Your cat's stool tends to run soft or inconsistent, or you'd rather wait for a longer track record of reliability and responsive support before trusting an unsupervised device with your cat's waste.
The verdict
This is a well-liked box on the numbers, 4.4 stars, with a safety pause owners have independently verified works. The listing is new enough that its handful of critical reviews are each describing a different, specific failure rather than a settled pattern, so treat it as promising with a shorter track record than our other picks. Pairing an automatic box with an automatic water source is a common next step, see our cat water fountains guide for what to look for there.
What Real Buyers Say
“I've been using this self-cleaning litter box for a while now. The automatic cleaning function works very efficiently. After my cat finishes using the litter box, the system quietly activates and separates waste from clean litter, depositing it into a sealed compartment. This significantly reduces odor. The sensors ensure the cleaning cycle only runs when the cat is not inside, which gives me peace of mind. The device also operates quietly, so it doesn't disturb my cat or my household.”

“For urine, it works great. However, when it comes to poop, it's been a different story. Twice now, my cat has had slightly soft stool, and instead of covering it cleanly, the cleaning cycle smeared it all along the inside wall of the litter box and my husband had to wipe the entire inside down. It seems like all it takes is poop that's even a little soft for the system to make a mess. And smeared poop equals horrible smell.”

“Stopped auto cleaning after just one month. I reset it, made sure it was connected. Unplugged it for a while and reconnected to the app. It works if I manually press the button but won't self clean which defeats the whole point. The sensor doesn't seem to be working at all either making it unsafe for the cat if it does start to self-clean. Reached out to the company with no response.”

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the weight tracking a health feature?
Treat it as a usage log, not a health or diagnostic tool. It records weight and visit frequency over time for your own reference. Any real concern about a cat's weight or litter box habits is a conversation for your vet, not something to rely on an app for.
Why does this have fewer reviews than the other picks here?
It's the newest listing in this lineup, first available in 2026. The rating (4.4 stars) is currently the highest of the five picks, but with a shorter track record than the more established options.
